i just got word that Mr. Andrew Wyeth passed away today….

i cant explain how much of an influence he has had on my life and work. i can remember seeing a slide of ‘Christina’s World’ in my 4th grade art class. i had full intentions of placing a sketch of mine with this post, but just didnt feel right doing so, mainly because when speaking of mr Wyeth i consider myself a hack. so i decided to scan this image of his instead.
i raise my glass to him tonight…
