last friday i had a piece in an indianapolis exhibit called Farewell at PIVOT GALLERY
the gallery is moving to a new space and this is their farewell to the old space.
The exhibit is a invitational of 18 selected artists of whom had all exhibited in the space since 2003.
way back in 2004 the gallery then known as the Stutz Gallery was where the exhibit ‘The Red Thread Project’ was held. showing the original puppets and framed prints from the promotional book ‘Hey Fred! Nice Red Thread’ and the animation.
the piece of mine is called Adieu and the fun part was that 20 feet across the gallery on an adjacent wall was the word adieu made of miniature nails that she ‘fired’ from her nailgun. its was fun to observe onlookers slowly make the connection.
thanks to George E. who bought the piece.
